A warm welcome to everyone
We are an independent fellowship of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ
We seek to follow Him as His disciples, obeying His teaching and crowning Him as King of kings and Lord of lords
We are members of the Evangelical Alliance
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Umberleigh Christian Fellowship website.
Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbour.
We believe that the door to salvation is always open. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by welcoming those in search of the truth. We show God's love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through our giving to charity, and opening doors to listen and to love, we feel we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Every month we are able to support various Christian charities with donations and prayers. For example,
Tear Fund, Barnabas Fund, MAF, Local Counties Evangelists, Jews for Jesus, and Devon Christian Camps.
They each do amazing work to promote the Gospel locally, as well as all round the world.
What we believe
There is just one true God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Bible is inspired by God the Holy Spirit and totally
Jesus died, was brought back to life and went back to heaven to be with His Father.
The only way to Salvation is through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is effective in saving people through Jesus and changing us to be more like Jesus.
The Holy Spirit still works today as He did in the early church.
There is one true church which is made up of all believers in Jesus.
The Holy Spirit lives in each believer, giving gifts to use in the building up of the body of the Church.
That Jesus will return to the earth in power and glory.
Services are held each Sunday morning at 11am. Any additional services will be announced on our notice board and on the website Services page.
